Position Summary:

BioCentriq is looking for an experienced business developer and sales executive to drive new customer acquisition. This person will generate new business by utilizing their established network of contacts in the cell & gene therapy industry and proven track record to deliver new projects including, process development and GMP clinical manufacturing services.

The Director, Business Development will introduce viable cell and gene therapy developers, other CDMOs and investor teams to BioCentriq and ensure that BioCentriq is considered for any potential project work. Additionally, they will be closely involved in the development of all subsequent proposals and assist with contract review and negotiation as needed. The successful candidate will have experience selling for a CDMO with the ability to furnish a deal sheet and established relationships with decision-makers and influencers at small- mid- and big pharma clients actively pursuing cell and gene therapies.

This position has an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

· Generate interest and awareness of BioCentriq’s process development and clinical manufacturing services and capabilities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in cell & gene therapy industry

· Demonstrated knowledge of cell and gene therapy process development, tech transfer and clinical manufacturing processes and project structure

· Understanding of competitive environment, typical project approach, partnership models, standard terms and pricing, and criteria and process used for CDMO selection

· Significant personal network of connections in the cell and gene therapy ecosystem

· Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated success
