Last week, two team members from BioCentriq flew to Barcelona to attend the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine’s Meeting on the Med 2023, which is one of the leading cell and gene therapy conferences that draws experts from all over the world. The conference explores a diverse range of commercialization topics, including market access, regulatory issues, and financing the industry. Most importantly, the Meeting on the Med is a hotbed for partnering activity.
Vice President of Development David Smith, Ph.D. gave BioCentriq’s company presentation, which you can watch here. It was held in the BioCentriq Ballroom—yes, our namesake—which was the central ballroom for presentations and the plenary. In addition, we held a booth in Gaudi Foyer, where we offered resources for attendees to get to know BioCentriq as the emerging powerhouse CDMO that we’ve proudly become.
BioCentriq’s Senior Director of Business Development, Chathuranga De Silva, Ph.D. was also in attendance and said, “As always, the Meeting on the Med was an incredible event with ample opportunity to meet industry colleagues, learn about what’s happening in the space on a worldwide level, and share our specialized capabilities as a collaborative CDMO.”
Unsurprisingly, BioCentriq’s coveted rubber ducks were a smash hit yet again, as they were at Phacilitate’s Advanced Therapies Week. People around the world have sought out these rubber ducks, and we’re happy to tell you that you can get one! Find us at the upcoming ASGCT conference from May 16-20th in Booth #524, where they’ll be waiting for you along with a friendly face ready to tell you all about BioCentriq. If you’re interested, you can click here to schedule a one-on-one meeting with us at ASGCT.
